Hey, I’m Mittal.
Painting has always been something very close to my heart — something that still brings me a kind of quiet joy that’s hard to explain, and sometimes even happy tears.
My connection with painting began in childhood, when I spent nearly an entire day absorbed in a small painting workshop at a local fair. It was a simple moment, but it stayed with me and slowly became the beginning of everything.
Later, I studied fashion design and spent several years working closely with textiles. But somewhere along the way, I realized that the pace of fast production never allowed me to grow in the way I naturally wanted as an artist.
I’ve always felt drawn toward creating more slowly and thoughtfully — making work that feels intentional and made with soul.
A visit to the Calico Museum of Textiles became a turning point for me. Seeing how deeply people once placed their time, care, and spirit into their craft made me reflect on how rich and meaningful creating used to be.
It also made me realize how easily things today can begin to feel flat and rushed. That experience gently brought me back to painting with a clearer purpose. Through my studio practice, I create hand-painted surface pattern designs for textiles, wallpaper, and other surface applications.

Our studio is dedicated to creating original hand-painted surface designs for textiles, wallpaper, paper goods, home décor, and stationery.
Working primarily through traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and oil, the studio builds artwork slowly and thoughtfully, allowing each design to retain its character and authenticity.
The studio approaches design with both artistic sensitivity and technical understanding, developing artwork that adapts naturally across seasons and product categories, making it suitable for collections and collaborations across different markets.
Alongside commissioned projects, the studio also maintains a growing collection of original designs available for licensing, offering a variety of carefully developed artwork ready to support upcoming collections and creative product launches.

Initial ideas are developed through hand sketches, where motifs are explored and early layout directions are tested to understand how the design will work as a cohesive composition.
We play with colors while keeping the season and your brand’s visual language in mind. The right palette matters more than the design itself.
We transfer the final sketch onto paper and begin painting using the selected color palette and your preferred medium.Every brushstroke is applied with care, and with a focus on the details, each design comes alive — this is our favorite part of the process.
The artwork is scanned and brought into the digital realm, where we refine details, adjust colors, and prepare the design for practical use — making sure it’s ready and true to your vision.
We carefully review every detail to ensure the design is flawless. Repeats and elements are checked, and the final artwork is delivered in your preferred file format, ready to bring your collection or product to life exactly as envisioned.
